Chhattisgarh Staff Selection Board (CGSSB / CG Vyapam) has opened online applications for the NSSK26 Written Recruitment Examination 2026 to fill 153 vacancies under Nagar Sena, Fire & Emergency Services, and SDRF. The recruitment drive includes posts for Store Keeper (32 posts), Vehicle Driver / Vahan Chalak (14 posts), Driver-cum-Operator (86 posts), Mechanic (2 posts), and Watch Room Operator (19 posts). Candidates who have passed Class 12 (along with a valid HMV Driving License for Driver roles or an ITI Diesel Mechanic diploma for Mechanic posts) and have qualified in the departmental Physical Efficiency Test (PET) are eligible to apply. All posts fall under Pay Matrix Level-4. Eligible candidates can submit their applications online through the official portal at vyapamcg.cgstate.gov.in from 11 August 2026 to 07 September 2026 (5:00 PM). The tentative written examination is scheduled for 22 November 2026 at Raipur.
Eligibility
To be eligible for the CGSSB NSSK26 Recruitment 2026, candidates must be local bona fide residents of Chhattisgarh and must have already qualified in the departmental Physical Efficiency Test (PET). The general age limit is 18 to 28 years (with standard upper age relaxations applicable for reserved categories, women, and state candidates up to 45 years). In terms of educational and technical qualifications: Store Keeper requires a minimum of a Class 12 (10+2) certificate from a recognized board; Vehicle Driver and Driver-cum-Operator positions require Class 12 passing along with a valid Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) Driving License; the Mechanic post requires Class 12 along with an ITI/Diploma in Diesel Mechanic trade; and the Watch Room Operator role requires Class 12 completion along with training as a Nagar Sainik and at least 3 years of service. Additionally, candidates must meet the prescribed physical standards (minimum height of 168 cm for males and 153 cm for females, alongside standard chest expansion measurements for male applicants)
